Abstract
The main purpose of the paper was to study the characteristics of the psychological resources of persons who have changed their profession. Theoretical basis of the work are the ideas about the psychological resources of personality, the types of psychological resources and approaches to their study and peculiarities of situation of profession change. The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of the data of two groups of respondents – those who have changed their professions and who have not changed the career. According to correlation analysis there were identified significant correlations between the indicators of the psychological resources of respondents, who changed and who did not change their profession. Regression analysis of data allowed to predict the probability of profession change. In study we identified psychological resources that contribute to making decisions about profession change. These resources include meaningfulness of life, readiness for change, resilience, constructive coping strategies and self-efficacy.Downloads
