A LEADERSHIP STYLE OF THE CIVIL SERVANTS ENDURING NORMATIVE PROFESSIONAL CRISES

Abstract
The article describes the substantial psychological characteristics of crisis profiles of the civil servants enduring normative professional crises: crisis of professional growth and crisis of professional career. The dominant leadership styles are revealed. The relation between styles of the leadership styles and components of administrative potential of government employees is established. It was empirically confirmed the assumptions that for the government employees enduring normative crisis of “the professional growth” the dominating “crisis profile” is “adaptation with the favorable forecast” whereas for the government employees enduring crisis of “professional career” it is dominated the “constructive experience of crisis with the favorable forecast” profile. Moreover at the respondents with normative “crisis of professional growth” it is prevailed “directive and democratic” leadership style “directive and participative” and at the respondents with normative “crisis of professional career” the “mixed” managerial style is inherent. It is shown that the leadership and managerial components of administrative readiness are expressed in group of the government employees enduring crisis of professional growth with the prevailing directive and participative style of the management. Among personal and professional competences there are strategic leadership, competence of social interaction, persistence and commitment and administrative competence. The management and expert component in administrative readiness are expressed at the government employees enduring crisis of professional career with the mixed style of the leadership. Among competences, there are the most significant, such as administrative competence, self-government and readiness for team work, in combination with expert competence.Downloads
