Abstract

The features of the interrelation between the characteristics of hardiness and motivation of managers in groups differing in their level of exposure to stress are considered. The sample was made by managers who carry out commercial functions in business organizations (numbering 80 people), aged from 23 to 45, who are under stress of daily professional activity. Differences in indicators of hardiness and motivation in subgroups of managers with high and low levels of exposure to stress were established. According to the results of the study, it is established that the hardiness and motivation of achievement, considered as a resource to changes, form the activity of managers aimed at achieving the result. Components of hardiness (control) and social needs as an adaptive resource, stimulate the activity of managers, aimed at maintaining efficiency in stressful situations.
